That was the turning point of the day and i wanted to eat some more stuff, but i really didnt want sangeeta to spend her parent's hardearned money. "We should leave now" i said .."Yes sure" she replied in dumpy vocals .. "so, what to do now?" i asked her, as i imagied that she'd like to attend some more seminars .."we should leave" she replied very softly. Soon we headed to the main road of IITD campus and preparning to exit from there. "Wait Deepak!" sangeeta said ..some girls were coming from upright. i guessed that they were her friends and it was well guessed.
No introduction with the girls .. it was pretty obscure for me, i mean it was a manifest! Girls were saunter .. i mean walking in a lazy manner .. and i common thing bt sangeet and me was that we both walk quite fast. We came out from the back exit. 3 girls left us, one joined us .. she was Soumya, I talked with her and i found that she is quite intelligent and serious girl .. really nice.
We came back to ISBT, sangeeta offered me to eat the leftover, its like i was helping her to finish the delicious cake. But her intentions wasnt wrong. I was near to main hall of IGIT. "Deepak, wait here, i'll be right back" she said ... "sure, come back soon" i replied ..you know waiting outside a girls hostel is quite dangerous thing to do atleast for me. Few girls crossed me and saw me very strangly .. i wanted to describe, why the hell i was there .. but i couldnt. Again running Sangeeta came with a big box in her hand, she opened the box and it was a chocolate cake .. girls fav. "Please deepak have it" she said .. i took small piece .. and she wondered that a leap boy just taking the small piece. she joined me .. it was a tasty cake!
"where is my party?" i said after the cake .. "okay you want party, Mc'D?" she asked miserably .."Yes whynt" i replied promtly ..Again i waited for her ... and she came quit fast this time. We enterned in the Mc'D and talked, watched the photos of her childhood... didnt odered anything ..and leaft the Mc'D .. "why you didnt order anything" she asked me ... "surely i'll.. but later its late" i replied .. she thanked me(i saw the emotions on her face) for spending my half of the day with her ..and i guess .. it was the best preasent for a sad friend.

Sangeeta's birthday - I
My friends knows that i am a party lover guy ... i mean the one who likes the food and fun in free. It was sangeeta's birthday, i've already wished her .. and i wasnt expecting any party .. hehe you can ask this question to sangeeta! It was holiday and i was working on my computer, my phone rang ... i surprised to see "Sangeeta" flashing on my creepy mobile phone. I picked it up and said "Ohu Hi, how are you" .. she replied in typical girl voice "Hey i am fine thanks and you ..." and then suddenly something happened to her .. and she started speaking continously .. i dont remember what she said .. at last i listened "acha .. there is a workshop in IIT of computer graphics .. we are going, you want to come?" .. I tried to say no but couldnt .. may be its her birthday thats why! "Okay, i'll come and please carry your peers too" .. i mentioned Diksha and Malvika's name .. you know why .. so that it shouldnt seems to be a date ..lol!
I reached to Metro Station on time .. that was my mistake .. it wasnt first time .. but still i did the mistake! I waited her for 30 mins .. and suddenly a P.T Usha kinda girl .. running towards me .. i didnt recognized her .. but it was Sangeeta with a big sigh and red hairs .. you know ..she was looking like a girl who just came from a beauty parlour..lol I gently asked her "So, i am on holidays? where wer you?" she replied with sigh "uff, sorry! i was preparing and washing clothes." .. then i asked her "Where is Diksha and Malvika" .."Diksha is now in IIT as she have MBA classes so she have to leave early and Malavika declines this idea" .. she said.
We sit in the bus and headed to IITD, in 40 mins we were in IITD and I met some friends of her ... i dont know what a girls thought, if she see a boy with her friend. I told sangeeta .."Hey tell them, we arnt on date " .. she laughed on me .. but it wasnt a date. Soon we are into the audi, and we sit togather ..without holding our hands...lol! she was quite interested in stuff, which was going on .. but i was enjoying .. the cartoon and animated movies. We came out of it .. and she had shown her interest in viting Graphics and simulation lab, but i was interested in b'day party. "hey i know the CS dept" she didnt believe on me .. and went to voulenteer near desk .. she might tought "isko kya pata iit key barey mein, yeh yahan padta thoda na hai".. i.e i dont know about iit.
Soon we moved to CS dept .. there we met Mr. Parag ..he was very nice us .. and he already knew her. Beside Parag, we saw very innovative projects and that was the turning point, we came our of the lab .. and sangeeta was so excited ..thats the problem with girls .. excites quite early, especially with boys. "Deepak, i always wants to work in this arena" ..she said .. I wont lie peer ..i thought she was joking, but soon i got to know she was serious. Suddenly some peoples came to us, and again i wondered ..Sangeeta knows them too, they were from DCE IEEE ..and the boy out there asked me "you know room number 328 in CS Dept" he probably thought that i study in IITD .. i was pretending like a IITD guy and said "Ya, go straight away and there is a room number 328"! soon they left us .. so i asked sangeeta about food .. and a party things.
On the way to holistic, i had spoken too much about ..what i gonna eat .. and i think Sangeeta was calcualting the bill into her mind. We reached there .. and asked her .. "what you'd like to eat" .. she poked around the canteen .. i guess she was seaching for raj kachori .. but she couldnt find it and then she asked me "Deepak, what you'll have" .."Orange Juice and you?" i replied promptly, "Mango Shake" ..it wanst a good choice for me ..because i hate it... and the worst thing about it that i paid its bill .. which was 20 bucks! pretty economical .. we sit on a classy chairs .. and we talked about future plans .. but She stucked with "Animation" .. After few mins ..i asked "You want something more ..? Dosa Utpam ..blah blah" she said no ..i didnt wonder about it ..she is quite slim .. so i concluded to a wrong conclusion. After few mins .. we walked to NESCAFE and I odered Cold Coffee ..and she odered the Hot Chocolate .. i knew it isnt a good choice, because no one like IITD hot chocolate .. but i didnt tell her about it. Bu the good thing was she paid the bill this time.

After the Pianist!
Watching a good movie, is the best thing that can happen with me. I still remember that friday, when i was watching The Pianist and Shaurya was disturbing me by making test call from his Skype phone, I was wishing "Oh jeez, break up the net connection". Soon i disconnected and went to watch movie, i was watching it for the first time, some friends told me that its nice movie but my damm bad luck .. always hangs around me, i couldnt watch the first half.
The second half was very impressive, infact i didnt know all these stuff and Nazis were soooo cruel!! I got the sympathic feelings for Polish peoples. After the Pianist, I turn my net on and searching about movie, i got remember "i have someone in Poland". Its my uncle .. he has given me some IDs of his friends, but i searched and the first ID that i got was of a girl whom i call Flower during this post!
"Hello" i said ..after 5 mins she replied "Hallo" .. then i said "How are you?" ... she replied "No english :(" ..it was a little unfortunate .. but i found a Polish-English dictionary .. and tried to communicate ..truefully ..it wasnt my Polish that helped me to talk with her, it was her English that helped me to talk with her. Soon we become very good friend .. i really start admiring Polish peoples .. soon i made some more friends .. they holds my expectations true! .. Alicja, Ania, Anka, Ewa, Ada, Justyna, Asia thank you all!

Meeting the girl!
I still remember the day after InfoXpression, actually i hanged all the night at USS hostel .. i reached at my home at 7:10 AM, no dobut i drowned into a deep sleep .. I am sure, after raeding this both Anubha and Vinay gonna hit me .. but who cares!! After 2 hours i got a call from Vinay .. I didnt know, how he was calling me .. he was with me at infoX .. "Hey Deepak, get up and come to college now!" said Vinay in constant harmonics ..."Areey, i am sleeping .. dont you know that?" I replied in sleepy voice ... "No, I dont know anything please come fast, we'll be have fun!" Vinay said before disconnecting the phone.
As i entered in the class .. allmost every student in the class was making a file .. i didnt know how Vinay gonna have fun with file stuff. "Abey, hello .. why did you called me here .. to make bloody file or something" i said ..like a professional killer ... "No No .. we are going to InfoX" Vinay replied .. "What? the hell you'll do there" i asked vinay .. "No nothing much, Anubha wanna meet Shaheen" Vinay replied .. somehow Anubha and Vinay convinced me .. and we walk to IGIT ... i called my friend Sangeeta .. to know wheather she was there or not ..she wasnt sure!
Somehow we couldnt meet her .. and we had a OS Practical .. so we had to come back ..we followed the shortest way to NIEC .. but unfortunatly ..we had to walk from PUSTA ROAD to SHASTRI PARK .. "Hello buddies .. lets go by Rikshaw" Anubha said .. like a CIA Agent .. "No, Lets Walk" Vinay Said .."Toldyaaaa" Anubha replied ... I remeber the palce of incident .. it was wedges and some tables on the road .. i guess it was a PANDAL of last event .."Lets jump over to it" Anubha said .. again like a CIA Agent ... "Oh yeah we should .. i am flying" Vinay said ... "Be carefull .. i am going to cross it slowly" .. i said in sissy tone.
Vinay was first to go .. he jumped over a 4 feet table .. like a James Bond, i didnt surprise but Anubha did .. now its Anubha's turn .. she was aware that it could be dangerous .. so she jumped slowly with little bit of mine help .. Finally we made it .. "Where is Vinay?" Anubha said ... "Oh he is that alley" i replied surprisely ... "What are you doing there, Vinay?" Anubha asked vinay firmly walking to him ... "Hey dont come here!!!" .. Vinay replied in femina voice ... "What! are you all right?" She said getting close to Vinay ... "Hey Deepak, stop her" Vinay odered me like a army person .. i didnt know why the hell he was saying to me .. but suddenly i focused my eyes to vinay's hand ..they were in front of zip of his jeans .. i laughed .. and Anubha also noticed that quite quickly that his jean had torned from the zip .. i was able to watch the color of Vinay's Underwear ..hehe .. Anubha gave a novel to vinay to hide the hole while walking ... "Whats the color of your underwear?" Anubha aksed ..Vinay turned his face to me and smiled ... "Tell me which brand you use to wear?" Anubha again asked vinay with enthusiasm!! "Jokey!" Vinay replied .. by the way .. i saw "Rupa" on vinay's underwear ..hehe! ..somehow we sent vinay to Ritesh's room ..which is next to our college .. and i ran to my class teaches and ask him to help me the buddy! .. when i came back with Ritesh to his room .. i saw Vinay is watching HARRY POTTER in towel!!
I was a great funny day, i am sure .. We all still remember it! especially Anubha!!

The Best Flower I Have!
Technical festival is something to earn money as well as to show my talent to my friends .. but i still remember the end of Jan ... a very friendly college had orgranized the techical fest, As Vinay is always a money and excitement lover like me, we made a team of two and planned to have fun overthere.
The Zenith ....was not only a tech fest but also a cultural fest, so we imagined we'd have lotta fun, so i carreid my camera .. to capture some moments as i did!
Here begains the story that happened in igit zenith 2005, I and Vinay just able to attend the last day of Zenith 2005 .. Prof. Gupta hangged us for the rest of the two days. We stepped into the IGIT, an eternal bliss came into our mind ... haha after seeing some many beautiful girls, something will definitly come to anyones mind ..secondly we arnt gay! I hopped my mind state everytime ..when i saw any girl..hehe i dont know about Vinay, may be he was stucked with one.
Finally, we're back to our target, that was money ..so we registered our team of two .. we had pleantly of time before get into the competetion. So i picked out the camera and played with it. Eventually i got this flower, smiling as always like wishing me "all the best".
Event started, i always though that girls has some problem with their commom sense .. which was proved on that day, we got a notepad ..to design a College website in 1 Hrs .. "What just you said?" I asked the girl ... "You have to design a website for your college in 1 hour in notepad, we dont have anyother tools" girl replied .... suddenly some other vocies were added to mine .. and i was feeling like president of some student union... but we couldnt do anything .. after 15 mins some more funniest quotes added ... "You have to do validation also using JAVASCRIPT" .. the girl said in monster tone! I lost hopes .. and just wanna to get out from the room as soon as possible. Ultimately i finished the stuff and i was out of the room! .. the websites we under examinations ..meanwhile we enjoyed the Mr. and Mrs. Zentith .. after watching the show, i reached at two conclusions, the one ... girls are best to host any cultural events ... and second ... you should always carry a camera to capture the girl ... lately i got to know that it was Shaheen Bardwaj's show. "Web Designing Final's Result is out!!" the girl with monster voice shouted on the mic ... "Hey vinay result is out, so what we gonna do" i said in diggy vocals ..."Nothing enjoy the Mr. and Mrs Zenith" vinay said in confident tone .. "Vinay is right, how can i miss the show, for bloody web-designing result" .. i thought my mind, as i belived that we had lost. After few mins, Vinay said "come on lets go an watch the result" I wondered .. but as i saw the helpdesk ... i got why he said that. Vinay asked the beautiful girl on the help desk "Hey, howz the result of web-desg final" in stylish tone .. like he wanted to impress her! ... she tolds some names ... included ours ..I wondered that we grabbed the second prize ..500 bucks! Ultimately final festa came to end .. we had some fun in JAM .. I was hoping Shaheen in dance session ..but she was eating sandwich on helpdesk ... "Where is my cell ... where is my cell phone" i heard someone shouting ... when i was turned it was Vinay ..hehe .. we ran to Help Desk .. where Shaheen was eating the sandwich in a stylish manner. "I forgot my cell phone in Lab during web-desg" the yellow coloured vinay said .. for his 1500 bucks creepy mobile .. "Yeah, we have recovered a mobile phone from lab" the girl next to shaheen said in heavy tone like they have recovered a lethal weapon! .. then the girls whispered .. i dont remember what they talked. Suddenly a new name came to my ears "Mrs. Jain" .. "Your phone is with Mrs. Jain" Shaheen said in cutey manner .. as girls ought to talk in that manner. She picked her mobile phone from her tight jeans .. and asked Vinay to call on his cell .... Vinay didnt hegitate and called his cell ... i knew that Vinay thoda saa beshram hai .. i meant he isnt a coy like me. All efforts were in vain .. Shaheen finally said "please follow me you guys .. we'll get your cell from Mrs. jain..she is Audi" ... Truefully, for me it was a great opportunity to follow a girl .. as i never did it before ..hehe .. But i am sure vinay was thinking of his creepy mobile ..Finally, Vinay's creepy phone was in shaheen's hand ... i am sure she'd have thought that these guys were searching this creepy mobile phone!!!!!!! Vinay got his mobile phone and i am not sure .. that we thanked her or not! .. i gues we forgot to say the finaly words.
I added those photos on the college website .. it was like when Tendulkar hits a ton ... i searched igit website to share that photos with them .. i got 3 names "Swati, Diksha and Sangeeta" .. i sent a common email to them .. and i wasnt expecting any replies .. but first Sangeeta ..then Diksha and then Swati replied in row .. so finally that flower has given me some beautiful friends .. so its a best flower for me!

Wooah!
Finally, i was into the books. I always thought that books are for loosers ..i mean .. movies are much better than book! i had a great debate on the books and movie stuff with Anubha and Diksha. I always been attracted by IIT, so i decided to read a book called "Five Points Someone" its based on IIT. Anubha told me .. once she started the book she just stick to it ..untill she finished it .. For a tough timed man .. it was like a good joke, you know i never into the books, i doubted on Anubha's wisdome.. but finally i got our end semester score in my mind ..Anubha has probably better scores. On that day .. i was crossing our pusta road ..i saw Aditya ..in front of me .. incidently i asked him "Hey Adi, you have five point someone?" knowing his answer that is NO. He nodded his head .. i said "What?" he said "just got today from a friends of mine .. you can take it and return me in month" .. i smiled and thought "Aditya Beta! jaa ab tujhe yeah book kabhi nahi milegi" which means I cant finish 270 pages book in a month ..lol
The day i started the book .. just read preface and a prologue .. nothign interesting i closed the book and sit on my PC.
On the next day, i was damm ill .. i was cold and sneezing blindly .. it was like my all girlfriends was missing me the same time! hehe .. i took that book .. and started the first chapter exactly at 2:50 PM ..i just planned to read 2-3 pages ..After finishing first 2 chaps in 30 mins .. i found nothing interesting .. so i decided to get back to PC ...but then my didi .. wants the PC and i started the 3rd cap ..lol.. i remember it was "Barefoot on metal". I had the whole IIT in my small mind .. when the girl NEHA came to my imagination .. everything was looking so beautiful .. i continued my reading till 9:10 PM .. when i finished that 270p book in 6 hrs.
The after effects of the book reading was great ... i have imagined everything .. the book was so great ..that i have canged my views on books and movies.. of course "our imagination is better than Directors" - Diksha said ..and all true! But book was little disappointing for me .. the story was damm fiction .. and i hate it .. i was expecting a real story .. and finally i got the story that written to earn money! .. its awful!!!
Final words .. thanks Anubha, Diksha .. and virtually Ania(who sent me great books) and remeber your nutty buddy! now i am into the loosers gang!

On the next day, i was damm ill .. i was cold and sneezing blindly .. it was like my all girlfriends was missing me the same time! hehe .. i took that book .. and started the first chapter exactly at 2:50 PM ..i just planned to read 2-3 pages ..After finishing first 2 chaps in 30 mins .. i found nothing interesting .. so i decided to get back to PC ...but then my didi .. wants the PC and i started the 3rd cap ..lol.. i remember it was "Barefoot on metal". I had the whole IIT in my small mind .. when the girl NEHA came to my imagination .. everything was looking so beautiful .. i continued my reading till 9:10 PM .. when i finished that 270p book in 6 hrs.
The after effects of the book reading was great ... i have imagined everything .. the book was so great ..that i have canged my views on books and movies.. of course "our imagination is better than Directors" - Diksha said ..and all true! But book was little disappointing for me .. the story was damm fiction .. and i hate it .. i was expecting a real story .. and finally i got the story that written to earn money! .. its awful!!!

The Green Mile
Ah! finally i've seen the green mile, it's very nice movie full of humour, drama and fantasy. It's story of death row gaurds of penitentiary, who noticed that one of the prisoner at the penitentiary had gifed some extraordinary magical powers by god. The prisoner, John Corffy was eight fight black man, he was wrongly accused by a family of killing its two children. The gaurds had discovered him correctly and now they were in dilemma of execution of John on electric chair.
Beside various humour and excelltent direction, the movie is parsed with great emotions. You should see the scene when any one is executed by electric chair. But the Gaurd did their duty and execute John. In 1999, one gaurd was narrating this story to his friend and mouse that was saved by John extraordinary powers was still alive.

Markov Properties [ Mathematics]
In layman's terms, a stochastic process has the Markov property if "the future depends only on the present, not on the past"; that is, if the probability distribution of future states of the process depends only upon the current state, and conditionally independent of the past states (the path of the process) given the present state. A process with the Markov property is usually called a Markov process, and may be described as Markovian.

Exponetially Quantum
It's really more confusing than you think.
It explained the superpostion of quantum states in classical computer terms of numbers in registers--every qubit added exponentially increases the number of registers the algorithm operates on.
Actually, every qubit only adds a qubit, but the size of the classical registers that would be needed to simulate the quantum register grows exponentially. This is not the same as saying the quantum register is equivalent to the huge classical register that would be needed to simulate it. The huge classical register would actually be much more useful if it could be made.
The calculation runs and ends in a group of results. Only one result of all those calulations will be right.
You are referring to a peculiarity of the Shor factoring algorithm, which is still the only useful truly quantum algorithm known. As I said, ideally a quantum algorithm would give only a single answer, i.e. at the end of the calculation the quantum state of the register would be one particular answer with unit probability and all other answers would have zero probability. However, the Shor algorithm does not do this; there is some probability of a wrong answer, and you have to run the calculation a few times to see what answers you get and then check them to see which one is right. This is not necessarily a universal characteristic of all quantum algorithms, but it's hard to say because so far the Shor algorithm is just about all we have.
Any problem that grows exponentially harder to solve as you add terms, non-polynomial problems, are tractable to a quantum computer because you simply tack on another qubit for each new term added and then run the calculation in polynomial time.
This was an early hope for QC but it is now known not to be true. Actually, there is only one algorithm known that can take advantage of the power of QC to solve what is believed to be an exponentially hard problem, and other exponentially hard problems are known not to be soluble in linear time by QC.
There is another very important exponentially hard problem which is known to be soluble by QC, although little work has been done on algorithms for it. That is the simulation of quantum systems themselves. In the long run, this may be the most important application of quantum computing, if it ever becomes practical.

Quantumized Brainy
For those who have been seriously inspired or irritated by Roger Penrose’s hypotheses on the possible basis of consciousness in quantum effects occurring inside neurons in the brain, a trio of researchers has published a speculative proposal that suggests that biological microtubules may act as quantum electrodynamic cavities and have the potential for quantum entanglement, teleportation and computation. The authors suggest that this mechanism may be responsible for how the brain works, or might at least provide biological building blocks for creating quantum computers. Quantum Computing Gets Five Photons Closer
Quantum computers, which use attributes of quantum particles like atoms and photons to represent data, promise to solve certain very large problems many orders of magnitude faster than is possible using today's computers. The challenge is being able to manipulate particles well enough to carry out computing.
A key step is being able to entangle five particles, which would make it possible to check computations for errors and teleport quantum information within and between computers.
Researchers from the University of Science and Technology of China, the University of Innsbruck in Austria, and the University of Heidelberg in Germany have entangled five photons.
Error correction uses mathematical codes to detect when a bit has been accidentally flipped, and is widely used in classical computing because electronic and magnetic bits occasionally switch accidentally from a 1 to a 0 or vice versa. Quantum bits are more delicate and require an error correction method to be feasible.
The researchers used the five-photon entanglement process to carry out open-destination teleportation, which makes it possible to transmit information to any one of several processors within a quantum computer or nodes in a quantum network. Quantum teleportation is akin to faxing a document and in the process destroying the original.
It will be more than a decade before the technology is practical, according to the researchers. The work appeared in the July 1, 2004 issue of Nature.

Quantumization
Imagine a computer whose memory is exponentially larger than its apparent physical size; a computer that can manipulate an exponential set of inputs simultaneously; a computer that computes in the twilight zone of Hilbert space. You would be thinking of a quantum computer. Relatively few and simple concepts from quantum mechanics are needed to make quantum computers a possibility. The subtlety has been in learning to manipulate these concepts. Is such a computer an inevitability or will it be too difficult to build?
solving an exponentially difficult problem for a conventional computer---that of factoring a large number. These ideas are then applied first to classical, dissipationless computers and then to quantum computers. A schematic model of a quantum computer is described as well as some of the subtleties in its programming. The Shor algorithm [1,2] for efficiently factoring numbers on a quantum computer is presented in two parts: the quantum procedure within the algorithm and the classical algorithm that calls the quantum procedure. The mathematical structure in factoring which makes the Shor algorithm possible is discussed. We conclude with an outlook to the feasibility and prospects for quantum computation in the coming years.
Let us start by describing the problem at hand: factoring a number N into its prime factors (e.g., the number 51688 may be decomposed as ). A convenient way to quantify how quickly a particular algorithm may solve a problem is to ask how the number of steps to complete the algorithm scales with the size of the ``input'' the algorithm is fed. For the factoring problem, this input is just the number N we wish to factor; hence the length of the input is . (The base of the logarithm is determined by our numbering system. Thus a base of 2 gives the length in binary; a base of 10 in decimal.) `Reasonable' algorithms are ones which scale as some small-degree polynomial in the input size (with a degree of perhaps 2 or 3).
On conventional computers the best known factoring algorithm runs in steps [3]. This algorithm, therefore, scales exponentially with the input size . For instance, in 1994 a 129 digit number (known as RSA129 [3']) was successfully factored using this algorithm on approximately 1600 workstations scattered around the world; the entire factorization took eight months [4]. Using this to estimate the prefactor of the above exponential scaling, we find that it would take roughly 800,000 years to factor a 250 digit number with the same computer power; similarly, a 1000 digit number would require years (significantly lon ger than the age of the universe). The difficulty of factoring large numbers is crucial for public-key cryptosystems, such as ones used by banks. There, such codes rely on the difficulty of factoring numbers with around 250 digits.
Recently, an algorithm was developed for factoring numbers on a quantum computer which runs in steps where is small [1]. This is roughly quadratic in the input size, so factoring a 1000 digit number with such an algorithm would require only a few million steps. The implication is that public key cryptosystems based on factoring may be breakable.
To give you an idea of how this exponential improvement might be possible, we review an elementary quantum mechanical experiment that demonstrates where such power may lie hidden [5]. The two-slit experiment is prototypic for observing quantum mechanical behavior: A source emits photons, electrons or other particles that arrive at a pair of slits. These particles undergo unitary evolution and finally measurement. We see an interference pattern, with both slits open, which wholely vanishes if either slit is covered. In some sense, the particles pass through both slits in parallel. If such unitary evolution were to represent a calculation (or an operation within a calculation) then the quantum system would be performing computations in parallel. Quantum parallelism comes for free. The output of this system would be given by the constructive interference among the parallel computations.

Computer Clusters
The idea behind Beowulf is to provide COTS (Commodity Off The Shelf) base systems to satisfy specific computational requirements.
The Center of Excellence in Space Data and Information Sciences (CESDIS) was located at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. CESDIS was funded in part by the NASA Earth and Space Sciences (ESS) project.
Part of ESS?s mission was to determine how applicable it would be to apply parallel computers to Earth and Space Science problems. Thus, the first Beowulf was made to handle the large data sets which are frequently used in ESS applications.

Exploring exokernal
An exokernel allocates and deallocates hardware on the most basic level. It doesn't provide abstractions for applications to use. From the most basic hardware primitives applications can implement the traditional operating system abstractions but can do so in a highly specialized manner to meet specific speed and functionality goals.
By abstracting physical hardware resources traditional operating systems limit the performance, flexibility and functionality of applications.
Exokernal architecture removes these limitations by allowing untrusted software to implement traditional operating system abstractions entirely at application level.
The key point of all exokernals is that the protection and management schemes are separate. Thus, the library operating systems are isolated from each other. This allows application libraries to be as powerful as the traditional privileged operation system.

exokernel
The exokernel, a novel operating system architecture, was the framework of much of parallel and distributed OS research. An exokernel eliminates the high-level abstractions most of today's operating systems are built on, instead concentrating on securely and efficiently multiplexing the raw hardware. A more conventional operating system interface is provided by application-level libraries. This allows untrusted applications to safely override default OS functionality for extensibility, flexibility, or performance.
